Meet the Team
Sherry Padgett, DMD
Dr. Sherry Padgett has one goal as the owner of Flat Creek Family Dentistry- to provide her patients with the best dental experience and results possible. Along with her compassionate team, Dr. Padgett treats each one of her patients with the same care and compassion she would give to her own family. She considers it her mission to change the way people think about dentistry.
After receiving her dental degree from the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry in 1999, Dr. Padgett continued her studies in a General Practice Residency at The Cleveland Clinic. While there, she learned advanced techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as received extensive training in working with medically compromised patients. Dr. Padgett worked in private practice for 4 years in Cleveland, OH after her residency before then moving to Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to working in private practice in Atlanta, she was the medical/dental director and national spokesperson for Brite Smile teeth whitening company for 7 years.
Dr. Padgett has been married to her high school sweetheart, Rob, since 2004. They moved to Peachtree City in 2010 to start Flat Creek Family Dentistry and raise their two daughters, Kelsi and Kenzi. During her free time, Dr. Padgett enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, playing golf, and socializing with friends and family.
In 2014, Dr. Padgett was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She did not let chemotherapy, a double mastectomy nor radiation take away her positive spirit, and she rang the bell to show completion of her treatment on May 27, 2015. Due to this experience, Dr. Padgett considers it her calling to help others during their own cancer struggles.
Dr. Padgett enjoys taking numerous continuing education courses to stay current with the changing dynamics of dentistry. In addition, she is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Hinman Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry.
Kim Burk, DMD
Dr. Kim Burk is a graduate of the Dental College of Georgia (formerly Medical College of Georgia). Since graduation, she has been working in private practice where she does a variety of procedures including, but not limited to: crowns, bridges, extractions, dentures, partials, anterior root canals and fillings.
Dr. Burk is a member of the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She loves attending the annual Hinman Dental meetings to stay up to date on all the latest advancements in dentistry.
In her free time, Kim enjoys a good pilates class, spending time with her husband, Marcus, and playing with her two dogs, Georgia and Bailey. She is also an avid traveler! Some of her favorite places include France, Thailand, and Israel.
Timothy Kaigler, DMD
Dr. Timothy Kaigler is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Furman University. Dr. Kaigler continued his studies after dental school in a General Practice Residency while serving 9 years with the US Army Dental Corps. Over the years, he has completed extensive training in the placement of dental implants, surgery, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Kaigler enjoys keeping up with the most current dental techniques and has taken many classes with world renowned clinicians. He is one of only a small percentage of dentists that has achieved Mastership level with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kaigler is happily married to his wife, Paula. He has 2 children, Chris and Nick, as well as 6 grandchildren. During his free time, Dr. Kaigler can be found on the tennis courts or the golf course.
Brittany was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She received a B.S. degree in Healthcare Management from Clayton State University. Brittany has a passion for dentistry with over 12 years of dental experience. Currently, she resides in Fayetteville with her husband Johnathan and their son Jaxson Ethan. When Brittany is away from the office, you can find her on her front porch reading a good book, singing in the church choir or simply spending quality time with her family.
Jessica grew up in the small town of Chattahoochee Hills. She now lives in Newnan with her husband and children. Jessica decided to go back to school once her children were school age, and became a certified Dental Assistant. On her days off you’ll find her with her family watching college football, cheering for UGA, or trying new recipes for her next cook off. She currently holds the title and has won 2 years in a row at a local rib contest.
RDH, Dental Hygienist
Lisa has been a devoted hygienist since 1984. She is happily married with two boys who are heavily involved in soccer. She enjoys traveling the Southeast supporting the boys, and running around Peachtree City on the cart paths. You never know where you might see her!

Kelley graduated from Columbus Technical College in 2002, where she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene. She started her dental career in pediatric dentistry and enjoys patients of all ages. Kelley lives in Newnan with her husband Todd. They have two adult daughters and a grandson. During her spare time, Kelley enjoys spending time with family and cheering on the Atlanta Falcons.
RDH, Dental Hygienist
Sharon graduated in 1993 from Clayton State College and has worked in the same office since September 1993. Sharon is married, and has two children, and currently four dogs. She lives in Woolsey on a farm that has cows and chickens. Sharon loves the outdoors and her goal is to hike every mountain in Georgia. She loves volleyball and stays very active. Her goal for her patients is to have the best dental health they can achieve. She wants every patient to have a positive and painless dental experience.
RDH, Dental Hygienist
Kristin was born and raised in Peachtree City, Ga. She was previously a patient at Flat Creek Family Dentisty and loved the atmosphere so much she decided to seek a job here. She is a 2016 graduate from the Dental Hygiene program at Darton State College. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her friends and family and Goldendoodle, Tucker. Her goal is to give all of her patients quality care with gentle, yet thorough visits.
Lisa Graduated from Western Pennsylvania Health and Technology in 1986 as a Certified Dental Assistant. Lisa is a family oriented person who has a daughter who was born in 1995 and a grandson who was born in 2015. Outside of dentistry, Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends to include spoiling her grandson, camping, campfires and good food.
